A lovely elongated metal canoe bowl from Sambonet in Italy. Believe this is a Roberto Sambonet design, but haven't found direct evidence for the ID yet. Probably stainless steel construction, unusual but elegant and modern shape. This is a very large, striking bowl - would be a great looking mid century centerpiece for display or use. Marked on bottom with "Sambonet Italy 18/8".

In good vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Some light wear, scuffs, marks, scratches, some tarnish.

Measures about 17 3/4" long, 8" wide, 2 1/4" tall.
