Nice looking Rose Dodds stoneware vase with carved / dimpled thumbnail pattern design. Wonderful blue gray mottled heavy glaze, with cut out modernist pattern on the sides of this piece from the Berkeley CA based potter (1909-2006). Reminds us a little of David Stewart pottery pieces. Signed on the bottom.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Some large pops and holes in the glaze from firing. Green felt pads on bottom. Some dirt and dust.

Measures about 7 1/2" tall, 6" widest, 3 1/2" wide at mouth.
