A beautiful Murano Italy handblown sommerso glass bear paperweight sculpture. Attributed to Luciano Gaspari for Salviati, probably sometime in the 1970s. Wonderful pale blue color with ruby red glass inclusion in the center of this chubby rounded bear form, with applied ears, eyes and tail. Unmarked on flat bottom.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Some inclusions, bubbles, swirling within the glass. A few light scratches and scuffs here and there. One tiny nick and a few deeper scratches on the flat bottom - not visible when viewed normally. One eye seems a bit wonky, but definitely a part of manufacturing.

Measures about 6" tall, 4 1/2" wide.
