A fantastic Italian glass snail paperweight from the Salviati Company in Italy. Handblown heavy glass construction with dark blue polka dots against lighter blue glass. Would be a show-stopper of a piece to be displayed in a midcentury modern or Italian glass setting. Unsure if this was designed by Gaspari for the Salviati company in Venice. Marked on bottom with a partial Salviati sticker along with another partial sticker of unknown origin.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. A few light paint splatters, some scratches and wear on bottom. Inclusions and bubbles in glass. A few light scratches overall but in good shape otherwise.

Measures about 7" long, 4 1/2" wide, 4 1/2" tall.
