Susan Brown Freeman Bowl

A fantastic Susan Brown Freeman carved glaze pottery bowl form. Very intricate carved incised leaf and floral designs on exterior of bowl glaze with speckled gray, brown and blue. Interior is glazed a speckled blue. A respected Alabama potter, she was a protege of Charles Counts at Rising Fawn - her pots are characterized by extremely thin-walled and light construction with detailed carving. Would look great displayed with other mid century modern pottery. Signed on the bottom with her Susan mark.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or damage. Sticker remnants on bottom rim.

Measures about 7 1/2" wide and 5" tall.
